Virgin Galactic's Spaceship Two has successfully demonstrated it can safely reenter the dense atmosphere from the vacuum of space. Using an innovative "feather" reentry configuration, the spacecraft descends towards the earth at a rate of 15,500 feet per minute.
With this flight, space tourism just got a lot closer to being a reality. $200,000 will get you a ticket for a 2.5 hour flight.
